Kandinsky's Composition VII [unassembled]
By Trinity Catlin
your collection of shapes / distill /
your suggestion of body / [headline]
/ rock-teeth: not bone but concrete /
biting dirt / splitting wood / legless
chairs / blue skies this december /
shut your triangle eyes / linseed oil
in your nailbed / earth from inside /
rat-brain / subject-change / cold-
lipped confession / i love u sm /
did you see that? / the edges of your
deficit / the edges of your hunger /
dinner later? / hold me rock-man
/ between your gums and cheek /
my cherry-colored funk / unraveling
your matter / unearthing / skin /
pleasuring the empty / fragments
of bone / of your language /
of self-portraits / kandinsky skies
tonight / eating paper plates /
that was sexy / calcium colors
on the wall / cat-tongued again /
thinking of touching something
smooth / butter on toast / rest /
did you notice? / the lack of figure
/ the loneliness of our mouths /
