A Magpie is on the Train Tracks

What are those, crickets?

It is still the middle of the day.

A magpie is on the train tracks

and that is where I should be,

cradling it between my palms, cradling

the train above my body.

His poetry is centered around the body as the recipient of experience and sensation.
